I think it’s wonderful that you’re being drawn to the beautiful side of Christianity. I’m only a few years free (and still working towards internal freedom) from the fundamentalist expression of it. While I still have an aversion to many things Christian and certainly don’t call myself one anymore (my family would consider me a heretic if they knew what I thought anyways), I still can see the beautiful spirituality and truth that are underneath all of the dogma and interpretation. And I suppose maybe I was lucky I was raised around zero religion because I haven’t experienced that fundamentalist side that you and so many others have spoken of — i had a really tiny taste of it when I moved from Oregon to Tennessee, and that was 100% the biggest culture shock to me. But yes… I’m sure many Christians would think what I believe and am drawn to is wrong or crazy or heresy or whatever, but it’s a giant umbrella of the same universal truth that has been told for a VERY long time, the concept of.. the harmonizing of the human soul if you will, being at the basis of every spiritual teaching as far back as we can reach. it’s human beings (and those seeking authority by way of church or government) that fuck shit up. took me a long time to get here cuz i couldnt get past that shit. luckily I didnt have to haha. much love to you and i would love to hear more about your journey
yo, thank you!!! i collage recycled or empty vinyl records, and that vinyl in the picture was the first one i ever made, at an alternative highschool when i was 16 haha! i still fkn have it! i rly appreciate that!
🤣🤣 probably a weird scratching sound if anything. But yes, you can get them and use them for art projects or like I used to do back in the day, I would go to a thrift store and buy super old and damaged ones that were like 50 yrs old for .50 cents and use those too 🙏
