This hit hard, it did. I don’t want to go on a rant but could you explain why it is that, for instance on Substack, I respond to a question, opening up, and with the exception of a few good souls most never bother to respond to me although others do get a response.

This is not the victim card but I can’t help wondering why I should bother

Perhaps you could explain...

i can explain from only my perspective. it's 1000% about timing at least on our (the writers) end. never personal. I get over 100 emails a day from substack, for various notifications. I also have a really busy life and a full time job and the world is overstimulating AF. Sometimes I'm able to get back to comments, and sometimes I intend on it, and then forget and then all the alerts get lost in my email, which currently has like 800 unopened emails. It's oversaturation of digital / societal noise, it makes it hard to get back to everyone, at times impossible. I can't speak for anyone else but that's 100% what it is for me. I either never see it, or I do see part of it and mean to read and reply when I have time and forget, or I don't have time and then also forget.

it could be the wrong place, that does not provide a relevant response to your questions and thoughts.. After all, substack is temporal, and not forever you know…

I have had the experiences of losing people I love. In several instances I have asked God to let me talk with the person on the other side and this request has been granted.

Mother Mary watched as her son Jesus was nailed to the cross by Roman soldiers. As he was being nailed he said, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." This exemplifies the compassion God has for us.

You are a blessing Tess.
