"Let there be no more seeming. I would know the truth and the whole of it."
Those words appeared in a comic book called "The Fantastic Four" a long time ago. I bought that comic and read those words. They've stuck with me.
The truth is, the universe God created for us is very large and very weird, spiritual, fated, filled with good souls seeking our way home. God loves us and wants us to be happy and with God forever.
So we pray prayers to seek God's help here so we remember how to get home. Sometimes we need a prayer no one else has said. So we remember how to create new prayers.
The mother of my soul is Mary who was the mother of Jesus Christ here in the earthly realm. She is the mother of many souls in the heavenly realm. It is through the wound in her heart that many hearts are revealed. So we are taught a prayer:
Hail holy queen, mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope, to thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve, to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then most gracious advocate thine eyes of mercy toward us and after this our exile show unto us the blesséd fruit of thy womb Jesus, oh clement, oh loving, oh sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us, oh holy mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.
