Your art is EVERYTHING. Know this. Art is the lifeblood of Revolution.
BANDCAMP FRIDAY:
In honor of the human spirit, in honor of humanity, in honor of the Spirit connecting everything, the Bliss Void Indivisible — I want to continue doing these every BandCamp Friday, because it is the only scenario in the music industry where artists can keep all of the proceeds people put toward supporting their music, without a distribution platform or label taking pretty much all of it.
Let’s keep music HUMAN and not have AI take that role over too, shall we?
Note: Spotify gives artists $0.0009 per stream. Other streaming platforms give less. So to combat the digital gulag of art, this is a way for us to share one another’s music and support each other as we continue to amplify our voices in the algorithm ghetto.
Your art is EVERYTHING. Never listen to a voice that tells you otherwise. The voices that will be the loudest will be in your own head. They are not yours. They are a product of the machine.
Now, to share everyone’s BandCamp, so you can check out some new music, and if you feel inclined, you can purchase an artists song, songs, or entire catalogue.
If you do not have $1 to buy a song that you dig, you know what is equally valuable to artists?
Sharing their music with your friends. Spreading it around. That is just as good.
Plus, now you get to tap in with other writers on substack who also make music, so without any more of me yammering here, LET’S GO:
First up is the Great
! Phenomenal writer and phenomenal artist who describes her music very aptly as “if self-liberation were a genre” - please find her BandCamp and discography at this link!Next up is
- and shoutout out to for including links to two bodies of work here! Please see this link right here for “Pain Table One: Songs Relieving Physical Trauma by way of Guts, Voice and Guitar! The second link to Home of the Heart can be found right here!I love this.
recommended Stella Akua’s “The Meek”, a new release that you can listen to here!I’m also going to do a shameless plug for my own tunes, especially because these are the LAST of their kind. The new music coming your way is a totally different sound/genre and a different approach all around to be honest — so these are the last of who “Tesstamona” was, and how I expressed myself up until now. You can find all of those tunes at this link right here! There are even a few tracks that are not available on any other site. Enjoy!
Thanks to the recommendation from
