We are Poetry in motion. We are the songs Life sings.

We are Words, Stories, music, experience and the dance.

We also,

Are the poets, the musicians, the dancers, the choreographers.

We create our perception.

We were made like unto the image of GOD.

I used to have a book of D.H. Lawrence's complete poetry somewhere in a box and couldn't believe how thick it was! IOW how much poetry he wrote vs. his novels. Thank you for unpacking this powerful reminder of who we really are.

I love his poetry so much. Poetry is like the language of our souls .. starting to realize that more and more - and we’re all fluent in it ❤️

Oh I love this, Tess! Side note, did you know that I live in New Mexico? I love knowing you were here in 2017 and wish I could've joined up for whatever adventure that was (can't wait to read that story). I hope you got the chance to go to D.H. Lawrence's ranch while you were here. I'm certain his spirit adores your presence! ❤️

OMGGGG I did not know that!!!! The new Mexico energy is a holy land to me. Oh man that is amazing. Do you mind if I ask what part? I understand if you don’t want to say being that it’s a public forum. And do you wanna know what’s crazy? I didn’t even know that he had written a poem, New Mexico, nor do I think I even knew who he was until after I came back from New Mexico. I still can’t remember how I found the poem, but it was right when I came home from New Mexico And it summed up an indescribable experience in one sentence. I did not know he had a ranch there. Looks like I have a new excuse to go back to New Mexico. ❤️🌹🙏

Yes! Two excuses...to see his ranch and meet me. 🤗 I live in Albuquerque now (grew up in a little place called Peralta), but really consider the whole state my home. One of my favorite activities is a road trip to some tiny, remote place here (especially if it has a cemetery). I love that the energy in New Mexico touched you in the way it did. I've come to realize that people either love it or hate it. It's not necessarily an easy place to be and I think she speaks to people in different ways.

I would love to meet you! That is basically where I was, the address was technically in Santa Fe but we weren’t “in” Santa Fe proper, sort of a remote area between Santa Fe and ABQ. Last time I went back to visit I was in ABQ and we went on a road trip to Ojo Caliente and Taos. It was wild. And yes, def does speak to ppl differently. There is darkness there for sure- but there’s an electricity that is… resurrecting from what I experienced. I’ll let you know when that post is out.. I’m so grateful to meet another friend in NM!!!! 🙏❤️🙏

During my university years, I read D. H. Lawrence's works in Arabic, greatly admiring his bold approach to taboo subjects, much like Henry Miller and Oscar Wilde

I’ll have to check out Henry Miller, I don’t believe I’ve read his works. Thank you 🙏❤️🙏
