This free meditative practice is available to all, courtesy of Jai Dev Singh and the Life Force Academy. Webcast is active for another three days. Even if you don’t practice Kundalini Yoga, listening to him speak on the topic of purpose and finding joy - REGARDLESS of life circumstance - is powerful.
A lot of people are going through really heavy shit right now. I’ve noticed it at an above average level, the amount of crises I’m seeing in those around me. I’ve been going through some intense things myself. The collective seems to be in another threshold.
These are times of evolution. They aren’t supposed to be comfortable. But I know how insane it can feel. No one is alone in the grief and pain they are going through right now, for whatever that’s worth.
These intense times are blessings. They offer us the opportunity:
Grow or Die.
Difficult times hold a mirror up to ourselves — to the monsters in our own labyrinth. It can be easy to blame and grasp and go into anger or flight mode, I’ve done all of the above, but at the end of the day, when searching for answers, or what it is one is meant to learn in times of suffering — sometimes the answer is:
“You don’t get an answer, you need to learn to be okay regardless of what is going on around you. You need to learn to develop the fortitude to be a refuge to yourself in any storm. You must learn to be okay uncertainty, unknown.”
And it was said by Anthony DeMello that people don’t really fear the unknown. They can’t fear something they don’t know. They fear losing what they KNOW. Even if what they know is suffering.
Do with it what you will, and I hope you enjoy the practice below.
A key to my own growth, which I learned as a firefighter, was letting go of my need to know the outcome following my action. I can only ever do my best. As long as I do, I don't need to know how the experience of others continues. 🙏❤️
Thank you for this meditation.
Fear is always an illusion. Looking back on all of the experienced fears in my life, they have never played out. Accepting the tough shit frees you from fear.
