While Everyone Freaks Out & Makes Noise, Here’s a Meditation to Tune In to Your Souls Voice
A meditation to clarify and create your future
This is a powerful clearing exercise. It is simple and does not interfere with anyones religious convictions or beliefs. Whomever you pray to, invite that into this meditation. If you don’t pray, no problem, this still works. It exists outside the realm of religion and the human ability to describe these experiences with words.
*EDIT: The mantra you can play while doing this meditation can be found here. Would suggest listening at low volume.
I received this meditation (this is a Kundalini Yoga practice) from Remington Donovan. If you’d like to check out his Patreon, which has been profoundly beneficial to me for years, you can do so here.
I am only passing along what was given to me, I did not make this up, but I have been doing it since the Equinox.
Alright, the meditation.
If you want to subscribe to the Kundalini Yoga tradition, before each meditation there is a tune in with a certain mantra. You also close the session with another mantra. This is not necessary if you don’t want to adhere to that, the meditation will work regardless. If you want to learn more about Kundalini Yoga, I suggest Life Force Academy.
When you begin the meditation, you will be sitting down in easy pose with your hands in Gyan Mudra. This is what that looks like, and you will be in this position the whole time.
These meditations often have time codes. The times you can do this for are 11 minutes, 7 minutes or 5 minutes. I suggest 11, but do what you can.
When you tune in, you bring your hands to the center of your chest in prayer pose. You will chant three times:
Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo
If you want to know what the mantra sounds like and how to tune in, or what this is even about, click here.
Now for the first part of the meditation:
Do this for the first half of your meditation. If you’re doing it for 11 minutes, do this for 6-7 minutes. Then you will switch to this:
You will be meditating on Zero. Bringing all things to zero, bringing all things to a reset, to a balancing out, to a clearing, however you’d like to think of it. I am not the one to get heavy into the teaching of Zero, see Remington Donovan for that. This is the next part:
Inhale and comfortably suspend the breath (hold it) and say in your mind,
All is zero
I am zero
each thought is zero
that problem (pick ones you deal with) is zero
that illness (pick ones you deal with) is zero
bring everything negative to zero, and be specific. Exhale naturally when you need to, then inhale and hold the breath (comfortably) in, and continue like this.
Do this for a few minutes, then you will move to the one word focus. It is either your Higher Consciousness or God who brings this word to you, whatever your belief system is. Use it.
Think of the quality or condition you most desire for your complete happiness and growth. Summarize it in a single word — whatever word jumps out at you in this space, with eyes closed, still sitting with the mudra. Be aware. It will jump out at you. You do not need to wrack your brain for this. Go with what jumps at you. You will know.
Lock in on that word and thought. Visualize the effects of it in your life.
Inhale and suspend the breath as you beam the thought in a continuous stream. Lock onto it, and as before, exhale/relax the breath as needed, then repeat.
See further explanation below:
As it says above, to end, which should be at the 11 minute mark, inhale and stretch your arms up (don’t jack up your shoulders) and spread your fingers out wide. Inhale, hold, release. Do that three times with the breath, then bring your arms down.
To tune out / seal the practice, you can chant
Sat Nam
It is pronounced “Sut Nahm”
You can chant this three times, or one long Sat Nam.
I don’t know where to find a video for you on that mantra, if you want more information or want me to do a video on it, leave it in the comments, or check out life force academy.
I hope this is helpful to someone, it’s a bit different than anything I’ve ever posted, so let me know if you’d like more posts like this.
This is a free post, so feel free to share it.
Tomorrow I get back on the road and head further south. I have a series of articles that I will be releasing around thriving in an era of censorship and tyranny. Those posts will be for paid subscribers only, so consider joining if you’d like to support my work. Much love.
This looks to be an excellent starting point for me.
Thanks.
It does work very well.
