This episode is very dear to my heart and it was a privilege to get to collaborate with someone in the same room, in real life, as opposed to livestreaming with people all in different areas.
We know each other from the recovery community here in Nashville, and we soon found out we had much more in common than being two sober women.
We gathered to discuss the recent shooting in Nashville, gun ownership and the idea of gun control, political ideologies and our departure from them, personal responsibility, modern feminism, family, community building, and WE THE PEOPLE - a reminder to everyone that WE ARE STILL “WE THE PEOPLE”, and we need to start acting like it.
Too many people let the TV tell them what to think, how to feel, who to hate, and people AREN’T THINKING FOR THEMSELVES ANYMORE. It’s absolutely terrifying and heartbreaking, in all honesty.
