The Only Sin: Restriction Of Our Spirit

Getting free from being our own prisoner and prison warden: creativity, struggle, rock-bottom and the bounce-back.

But life is such a magical game, if only we can unchain ourselves enough to PLAY

We all have restrictions, and places in our lives where we feel we are both prisoner and prison warden, if we’re being real about it.. 

The title of this article comes from a person I respect much. He often says, “The only sin in Magick is restriction.” This means restriction of our soul, our spirit, our heart, our Love. It doesn’t mean “self-control” or “restraint” like we might interpret it today.

🌟 Some shit is just meant to play out. Some things are fated. When we feel like we are being burned alive by suffering, this is so all falsehoods can burn away. Only what is real will remain… so long as we do not prematurely stop this alchemical fire by numbing, running, or hiding.
