Hurricane Helene - Intel and Options
This will likely be a progressive series, updating in real time to the best of my ability
The breakdown:
Options - what you can do regarding donations, deployment, volunteering, getting help, giving help, and/or accessing training and preparedness resources.
Intel - self explanatory and subject to change, see future articles for updates.
OPTIONS
One of the only Disaster Relief organizations I’d recommend is Grindstone Ministries. This is a non-profit organization run by Bear Independent (TJ Morris), a former FEMA contractor who, after Hurricane Katrina realized the level of incompetency in the governments preparedness response, began his own initiatives.
Grindstone ministries is one of several, and they are already on the ground in Eastern TN and the Western Carolinas.
WWW.GrindstoneMinistries.COM is the website. As of right now, their primary focus is Eastern TN and Western Carolinas. Those are the areas most devastated by far, and those are the areas least prepared, as they aren’t typically receiving hurricanes being 300+ miles inland and at over 2000+ ft of elevation. We’ll talk about that later.
Donate at their website… or…
If you are interested in DEPLOYING with Grindstone Ministries, meaning boots on the ground recovery and restoration, you do have to speak with them, but if you’d like to, DO SO AT THIS LINK HERE.
This is who they are looking for regarding deployment for Hurricane Helene:
Logistics personnel
Saw Teams
Medical Personnel
Heavy Equipment Operators
Truck Drivers
Search & Rescue Personnel
Communications Experts
Community Liaisons
General Laborers
The United Cajun Navy are a non profit I don’t have personal experience with, so I cannot vouch for them, but from what others say, they come in high regard, and I know they’re on the ground in FL, TN and NC.
You can connect with the United Cajun Navy at this link here - for both donation and deployment purposes.
Intel Intermission
Since there appears to be a great discrepancy in the media coverage of this (meaning five states in the US are in a State of Emergency and there is almost ZERO media coverage) I’m going to pause here and insert two YouTube videos from people in the area of Western NC / Eastern TN.
I live in Florida and whether or not it’s an end game scenario or someone is okay depends varies drastically by what area you are in.
I think I’m going to do a separate article on Florida altogether because there’s a lot to say, however it’s almost entirely locals helping locals, I haven’t seen any initiatives of non profits around here (in the Gulf) but further north I’ve heard Samaritan’s Purse is around, same with United Cajun Navy.
In Florida’s Big Bend area, from what I was told, they were denied FEMA assistance because they were already receiving assistance from Hurricane Idalia in 2023?? None of this is surprising. But it’s disgusting.
I’ve also been told horror stories from both family and friends regarding FEMA and Red Cross during Hurricane Ian, here in the Gulf in 2022. For the love of God, LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE who have real world experience instead of what you wish was true. Don’t donate to the red cross either.
AT THE END OF THE DAY - best thing to remember is “no one is coming to save us except US” - don’t wait for a government agency to come save you, or you’ll become a casualty.
The first and last video is Billy Bond, a personal friend of mine and the man behind Perma Pastures Farm. They’re in the Asheville area.
The second video is TJ Morris, AKA Bear Independent, who is also the CEO of Grindstone Ministries, runs rescue and rehab organization (Kaleb House) for victims of sex trafficking, runs Refuge Medical, does A LOT with a solid team. I know him on an acquaintance / association level, not personal, but I’ve been familiar with the work he does for years, and I vouch for it.
I’d highly suggest connecting with both channels if you are not prepared for more of this to come. So many people were not prepared for this shit, and it’s the difference between life and death.
Be prepared, have a plan BEFORE you need the plan.
Once you need the plan, you will not be able to develop the plan.
If you have people that won’t coordinate emergency plans with you in your locale or family, fuck em don’t wait around on them to change. They won’t.
Coordinate for yourself and coordinate with whoever you can, but if its no one, at least know what you’re doing, and know what you will do if the entire grid goes down and you have no water.
Be prepared for well water not being able to help you - the well water is contaminated in NC because their septic flooded into it.
Even if that doesn’t happen, most people have wells that operate on electricity. That’s great if you have a generator - do you know how to properly store gasoline?
Here in FL, Tropical Storm Debbie allegedly was the cause of over 50 million gallons of raw sewage being dumped into the rivers, gulf, waterways (and municipal water) just from Sarasota to Hillsborough county two months ago (it still smells like sewage out here) - and that’s the amount they admitted to.
But we all know the city dumped that sewage so they didn’t have to pay for proper disposal per EPA regulations plus they want to poison the land so they can buy it from you and put you in smart cities.
Anyway:
Just know what it is you’ll do if there is a PROLONGED interruption of SERVICE. There. that’s the simple way.
Options Continued
This is going to sound wild, so allow me to begin with a story (real life) -
On Friday, a friend here in Florida told me she couldn’t find her parents - they live in West NC and were in the area near Black Mountain (if you know, you know how bad that area is). She could not get ahold of them.
Their area had no water, no power, no cell service, no nothing. And she knew the area was hit with catastrophic floods.
She wasn’t able to get ahold of them until… a miracle.
Yall remember Facebook, right?
She was in a Facebook group. It just so happened that someone in that Facebook group lived in the area and had Star Link. She went to go look for my friends parents. She found them - ALIVE.
She brought them her Star Link (I have no idea how that shit works) so they could contact their daughter. She brought them WATER. And again, she found them.
Now, my friend in Florida knows her parents are alive.
BTW this is not an ad for star link as I am suspect af about that technology - that’s for another rant.
That was done through networking in Facebook groups. Holy fuck that platform actually might be good for ONE thing.
I’ve personally seen tons of it on my end. This is how I have found the LOCAL non-profits who need volunteers for disaster relief, resource distribution and clean-up. I won’t list those because I don’t think any of you live in my city.
I say this to say, find the groups in yours. They are going to be talking about it and if they aren’t, ask.
So far I’ve found local non-profits as well as county and state volunteer websites where you can register and start helping out.
That’s also how I came across the information on the specific needs of my locality which I shared here. If I hadn’t called the guy and asked, I would have just assumed bring and donate water.
And if you are in Florida, NC, SC, GA or TN, I’d suggest you join this group. This is the Hurricane Helene Community Support Group - who is organizing donations and help in every affected area, and a place for people who need help to reach out.
There are also subgroups within this group for your individual needs and individual areas.
I will be helping them in my locale when it comes to deliveries of donations and I’ll be donating what I can myself.
THIS is the group, please join if you need help, or if you want to help.
Deploying
Aside from the Cajun Navy website and Grindstone Ministries that I provided, if you are like me and are interested in getting the training and certification to do ground SAR (search and rescue), please see the National Association for Search and Rescue. You can also look for SAR training in (your state here) in a search engine, as they will have state specific field training.
RESOURCES FOR TRAINING AND PREPAREDNESS:
TACTICAL RESPONSE and REFUGE MEDICAL. enough said. I stand by them both. I’ve trained with Tactical Response and you bet your sweet ass I’ll be training with Refuge Medical come December; as nervous as I am to have to do some of that stuff, we need to know how to do it.
There is also a FREE 4 hour trauma medicine playlist on the Refuge Medical website, so check that out.
You can also contact James Addison from Prepared Citizens Training Group who does training regarding TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care), firearms, medical, and search and rescue. I know him personally, he’s a friend of mine and I’ve trained with him before. He is based in East Alabama.
Another resource I’m adding thanks to
is Civil Air Patrol (CAP) which he has done, thank you Don!If you’re looking for basic preparedness 101, I’d recommend the 4+ hours of free content on Bear Independent’s YouTube Channel on the Prepper Classroom Playlist.
I’d also suggest the FREE Patreon of Viking Preparedness - the only Patreon I’ve ever heard of being free. You can join at this link here.
What this shit has taught and reminded me is you must make yourself as useful as possible to your community. It sucks shit to know there are people suffering and you can’t do a thing because you have no specialized skills in medical, SAR, don’t have a boat, or don’t know how to use a chainsaw. I’m not willing to be in a “useless” position to others again.
Granted, there were still things I could do, like linking up with the Hurricane Relief in my area and figuring out what they need and offering my time and resources. That’s definitely not nothing. But I want to maximize my usefulness in scenarios where they are needed the most. You do not want to be in a situation where you have to watch people die.
Oh god. Now we have to get into the INTEL.
I need to take a break for a sec hold on.
Some of this information regarding geoengineering, anomalies and all that will be spoken on during a live on Wednesday on Perma Pastures Farm’s YouTube channel with a guy from GeoEngineering Watch. I’ll leave that to him to tell.
What I can tell you is this:
A group of 30 people stranded on top of Black Mountain NC with no supplies, no water, etc. - someone in my community found a way to drop supplies via air. I didn’t press him for details but I’m assuming that would have been done by drone. What happened? The FAA shut them down. They literally PREVENTED food, water and medical supplies from being delivered to an area where people were stranded. ***UPDATE: My friend and his team got in. Do not expect federal agencies or the red cross or the national guard to save you - the majority of what I’m seeing IN PERSON plus hearing from friends in other areas is people helping people.
A lot of non profits have shown up to these places offering disaster relief but they were not allowed in by government officials to deliver supplies. Although they let them set up two star link stations! ….
Massive dissonance and blackouts - the next town over to the majority of the damage in NC - their school was still carrying on with a football game the next night, while everyone else 20 mins away was fucked. You don’t think they could have helped people instead? And for the record, they weren’t blocked off. The person who told me this lives in that area and was able to get into Asheville, whatever road they took was open.
Someone on the East Coast of Florida asked me if the media out here on Florida’s West Coast / Gulf was covering the storm. I said yeah, it’s all anyone was talking about that week. She said, that’s so weird, over here it was like it wasn’t even coming, no one even knew about it.
This has been a theme. Media blackouts and people in parts of the country that have no idea.
The people who were told to shelter in place in East TN… suddenly the dam “fails” and.. well do we know what happened to them? No. They were then told to evacuate but weren’t able to leave because the roads were impassable or gone.
If they had an idea of how much rain they were going to get, and there was a dam nearby, why the hell were they told to shelter in place?
I saw footage that a friend posted who did get internet access temporarily of the helicopters above. They weren’t dropping anything. No aid, just surveillance.
A few days before the hurricane hit (9/21), Cedar Key in Florida was incinerated. Allegedly, all these businesses on the key caught fire at 5 am. Do you remember what the “maui WiLdFiReS” looked like? No reason was given for why an entire area of local businesses engulfed themselves in flames. And now, no reason has to be given, because guess what area got decimated by the hurricane? Cedar Key.
No evidence left.
Hurricane Helene was the first time in the history of the National Hurricane Center’s existence that it was declared a CAT3 or CAT4 hurricane before it even formed as a hurricane in general. It wasn’t even a tropical storm yet. How did they know that?
Project Cirrus (1946 - 1957) was one of the first experiments in “cloud seeding” - What happened? One of the first experiments was in 1947 off the coast of Jacksonville FLORIDA, they dropped a bunch of dry ice (silver iodide) into a hurricane system when flying above it, effectively enhancing its power AND changing its direction TOWARD the United States (Florida), leaving people homeless or dead.
The first on record official weather modification patents were I believe 1965, but they were messing with this technology (several forms of it) way before that. See patent US3441214A, titled “Method and apparatus for seeding clouds”, filed on October 29, 1965, and granted on April 29, 1969.
I’ll wait for the Geo Engineering guy to talk on Wednesday but all I will say is that via EMF / towers, these storms can be directed and manipulated. We’ll find out more, but it looks like they’ve advanced quite a bit with this tech since the 1940s.
I might have already stated this, but it’s currently 11 PM on Sept 30th. At midnight on October 1st, the Ports go on strike. Right after 5 states go into a state of emergency and have no supplies - and this country runs on imports. How long do you think any civility remaining is going to last when people cannot get their essential supplies - food, water, medical, gas, don’t forget toilet paper!
Prior to the hurricane, in North Carolina (days before this storm made landfall) was having record flooding in that area. I was told by people in the area (same area that is now an island in the mountains) that the flooding was nearly up to the tops of peoples tires in from rainfall.
There are others in East TN that I have seen who are gearing up to go in first thing tomorrow as well with hundreds of gallons of gasoline to help people, as there is no fuel in the area - you know, the thing generators run on. NONE of this was done by the government.
Total dissociation if “it didn’t affect me” - I’ve seen this and worse across the board. Business as usual, hurry up, get back to WORK, hurry up, get back to your FAVORITE TV SHOWS AND BARS EVERYONE! It didn’t affect you, so fuck everyone else! Even if 25 miles up the road, or 5 miles toward the coast, they’re all underwater, or they’re still going through that neighborhood with cadaver dogs so it’s closed to everyone- NOOOPE we don’t care!
I am not saying this is literally everyone, but that attitude is so widespread it is devastating, and shattered my faith in a lot of people. I have worse examples but I’ll leave those to myself.
Then there’s the people who cheer this on.
The amount of people I’ve seen on social media cheering on the destruction and loss of homes and LIVES for the simple fact that they assume we don’t vote the same way they do - is beyond heinous.
People could not WAIT to jump at the chance to sting at an already paralyzed target. Fucking cowards.
I do not say this to demoralize or discourage you. If you hear this and your reaction is “I’m just going to be a hermit and keep to myself” - nah bro, you’re gonna become a casualty is what you’re gonna do.
The only reason why people live is because of connection. And the reason why so many suffer and DIE is due to lack of connection.
Make your plan before you need it. Develop your Mutual Assistance Group NOW. People who show with their actions they can be relied on, not people who talk a good game. Anybody can talk. Rarely do they show up when it counts. Pay attention to whose yes means yes and whose no means no - pay attention to who turns the other cheek and who runs into the fire.
You are either part of the problem or part of the solution - turning the blind eye and living on airplane comatose mode makes you dead weight and an absolute part of the problem.
Tyranny thrives when good men and women do NOTHING.
The lack of connection and the unbelievable surge in delusional self centeredness is… hard to describe.
Between cultural conditioning propaganda and trauma-based mind control, deterioration of HEALTHY families and communities, a gaslight turn the other cheek antichrist culture, everyone constantly hypnotized by one screen or another; yeah, we’ve got a problem.
You know it’s showing when hardly anyone reacts to the burning building they are in.
You know it’s showing when someone can watch their own kin in said burning building and deaf ear their cries for help.
This is how you know a YES from a NO.
Those people? Even if they are your so called best friends, your husband/wife, your sister, brother, your family— yo, adjust accordingly. That is not a human reaction.
I understand having compassion for people who may be dead inside, but why put energy into relationships that aren’t even relationships, but rather, fair-weather illusions?
Shit like this, when it all gets turned upside down, will show you the truth of the character of yourself — and those around you.
Do not look away and do not go back into the cave when you think danger has passed. If you think this shit was an “act of god” or “mother nature” - think again.
For a history of Geoengineering, you may enjoy this video:
Feel free to donate at this link if you support this work, it’ll likely go toward donations to get diapers/food/water/baby wipes/clothes to people who lost everything, or I might use it to buy groceries so I can eat, or gasoline so I can help local initiatives deliver donations, depends on the day you send it.
The donation or “Buy Me a Coffee” Link: https://ko-fi.com/tesstamona
Yes, Algorithm Ghetto the song is coming out Friday, if you want it delivered to you via your favorite streaming service, you may secure it here: https://lnk.to/AlgorithmGhetto
Good night or good morning wherever you are!
Our town was basically a postapocalyptic wasteland after hurricane Michael.
I can highly recommend the United Cajun Navy: After Michael, those guys were in town, set up in a vacant lot cooking jambalaya and taking search-and-rescue requests, and sending crews with chainsaws out to locate your great-aunt that nobody's been able to get on the phone because all the cell towers are down. Those guys are legit, and they've learned a lot since Katrina. They probably have better disaster-zone coordination and communication than law enforcement, these days, since they specialize in situations where there's no power and all the cell towers are down. For immediate basic-needs (food and water) relief and search and rescue, there's nobody better, at least for the Gulf Coast area.
Let me also put in a good word for the Salvation Army. I know they're uncool fuddy-duddies, but like UCN, they were on the ground, set up, and serving hot meals within hours of the hurricane passing. Aid work is their religion, and they don't wait around. They were on the ground after Katrina before anybody else.
I can't say enough good things about Samaritan's Purse, and the Mennonite Disaster Service. Those guys were still working in our county A WHOLE YEAR after Michael. MDS replaced my parents' roof, at a time when they couldn't even pay someone to do it, because all the roofing services were waitlisted for more than six months out. Not even taking new names.
I have seen on the MDS website that they've got people on the ground, right now, in NC, with skid steers clearing debris to enable transportation, which is IMO the most urgent need. If you need an ambulance, or food, or water... roads have to be passable.
Samaritan's Purse is based in Boone, NC, so they are *right there* in the thick of things anyway, and deploying medical help, chainsaw crews, airdropping supplies, and probably everything else humanly possible:
https://samaritanspurse.org/article/pray-for-those-in-helenes-path/
My teams have been on the ground throughout the whole thing. I’ve run the 999 rescue team for 6 years or so now. We are Actively in burnside as we speak. Town is completely demolished. Could share vids etc… had over 300 requests from Help on our online form. Literally impossible to help many of them as the structures don’t exist anymore. Sad situation. Urging people to send as many supplies as you can afford .
