Fierce Protector, Sacred Obligation

At the end of the day, we are all here for a reason:

We have unique gifts to bring to life, or we would not exist. Nothing in nature exists without a purpose, and every living thing, including you, has a specific purpose — gifts that only you can give. Wisdom that only you hold.

But of course, people get this twisted, because if they can find a way to make themselves “bigger” or “better” than the next person, they don’t have to confront the internal nagging of emptiness and insecurity within themselves.

We all must face this uncertainty, it is the nature of life.

We’re going to discuss a misunderstood and controversial figure here. I doubt that surprises anyone.

The Many Faces of God

It is said (and more importantly, understood) that we have many personifications of that which we call God, the Great ALL, the unnameable, the inconceivable, because of what I just listed — inconceivable (to the mind).

The human mind knows how to connect with a personification. It is not so easy (yet certainly possible) to connect with that which there are no adequate words for. Personifications provide a bridge into the Great Inconceivable.

There are lessons to be found everywhere. I’ve heard it said that because God is infinite, there are infinite ways a person can access it. Many will disagree due to religious beliefs. I am not interested in debating that. I go by what I experience, not what I am told.

Which messenger are we talking about today?

One that represents a question I asked in regards to protection, and how to navigate a particularly terrifying situation that I do not have control over, besides “stay strapped”.

Humans fail each other all the time. Human power cannot be relied upon. Can I judge? It is no use to become pessimistic, that is stupid and self-defeating. After all, how many times have I failed myself? How many times have I failed others?

Countless times.

We are human, we fuck up, we have weaknesses. Like every other aspect of nature, we have our seasons where our energy ebbs and flows. It’s not always so personal.

So, this is the reason why connecting to the divine is my best way of calling for backup, because this Power has never failed.
