When I wrote this prayer, I used the word Lord. Feel free to substitute that with whatever word feels best for you to connect to that which we cannot describe with language.
This is a prayer for those of us seeking clarity. For when you feel walls closing in on you, when cords of bondage, abuse and trauma pull on you, and your inner-vision and perception become clouded.
It is for those of us who seek to act assertively in truth, not hidden in passivity, and not rashly with a guillotine (unless that’s genuinely called for).
Lord, if I am wrong, may my thoughts and perceptions be righted and clarified.
Lord, if I am right, may my thoughts and perceptions be confirmed in the deep knowing of my soul.
Lord, may I be given the direction and intuitive inspiration toward which action to take in freeing myself from this toxicity, whether its roots be in my mind, or in this situation/relationships.
Lord, may I see with ultimate clarity, what is mine to own, and what is not. In moving toward a life free from bondage and in accordance with my worth, may every action I take and boundary I set be in accord with the building of that foundation.
Lord, may I be given the clarity and courage to set boundaries and communicate effectively.
Lord, may I be given the peace and courage to avoid nothing based on the fear of someone else’s narrative, may I be true to myself and the gift of life you gave me above all else.
Lord, may the only opinion that matters to me be yours and mine.
Amen to that fair prayer say I. 💕
Amen. Your prayer is beautiful and Godly. The heavens rejoice with this prayer. You are blessed and worthy, a delight to God and a joy to Mother Mary. Hallelujah. It is spoken. Amen.
